KBOO Bike Show: Pedalpalooza 2010
Listen to the show (mp3, 25.6MB)
Kicking off on June 10th, Portland's Pedalpalooza packs over 250 bike themed events into just two weeks. From Cruller Crawls to Pedal Potluck Picnics . . . From Legal Clinics to Naked Rides, there should be something of interest to everyone. And almost all events are free!
On this month's KBOO Bike Show, Lindsay and Sara host a conversation with three veteran Pedalpalooza event organizers, Leah Jackson, Steph Routh and Steven Upchurch.

At the beginning of the show Peoria, IL was brought up. I can't really figure why, I am from Peoria, IL. I have recently moved to Salem, OR.
I am actually going to be back in Peoria for a week, and am interested in finding out if there is actually anything going on. So what was it she was talking about and where can I find out more. Thank you very much.
Pretty nice to here about my home town on here.

I believe the reference is to "Bike Summer" an annual event that moves to a different city each year. It would appear to be in Peoria this year: http://criticalmass.wikia.com/wiki/Bike_Summer!
